So Tah Tah did not show up for the Sunday Meeting a couple of weeks ago. No surprise there. But she’s up to her old tricks of setting deadlines that she has no intentions of keeping. Yes, she promised to have a budget and true to form she did NOT deliver.
Nine months after her election she is still ducking dogding and offering bogus subtrafuge as opposed to a budget. Now this is pretty awful. But worse was her recently digging out Gordon Harris’s antiquated paperless accounting program and having to bring in consultants from New Mexico to help he impliment an outdated program. The consultants accents were so heavy no one could uderstad them. Tah Tah’s mo. BS.
No budget to draw from. Just Tah Tah doing her thing….no ne can do anything about her. Tribal members talk about getting rid of her constantly. Constantly. You can understand why. Nothing is happening for this tribe because of of one person. Tah Tah.
Where is the Comptroller? We can’t spend money the government has given us because of Tah Tah.
The land in trust saga goes on. We have said it repeatedly. We have to do the congressional fix. There is no subsitute for a law that addresses the Supreme Court ruling. We could lose every thing.
