The shame of it all. The degradation of this Tribe is absolutely disheartening. Cedric Cromwell has destroyed us. Our government has been run by Cromwell and his relatives for the most part, for almost a decade. They have brought us to their level. A new low. Not one of them has ever had any professional training or public service or any manner of professional management. They are expert “cons” however and typical of that type, they’re telling the tribal members to go out and protest thier screwup. It’s vintage Jessie “Big Doe” propaganda. Course she wants to have a public sideshow Friday so she can talk a lot of crap about how we need our land in trust and how the town should let us alone. We would agree with all that if she did not craft the disastrous Land in Trust application that was totally unworthy of the Mashpee Wampanoag. The proof of our problem was well documented. The use of our tribal members attendance at Carlisle Indian Industrial School did not certify us as being under federal jurisdiction. The National Council of American Indians brought that up in our defense. Magnanimous gesture it was, but proof it is not.
We desrve our land in trust for a reason Shovel Ready and crew never understood. More about it tomorrow.
