Social media is lit up with the machinations of the deadbeat cruise line Crystal Serenity owned by Genting Hong Kong. What was so amazing was the fact that Genting filed bankruptcy to avoid any disruption of cruises, but the feds seized all three ships anyway. Then, the poor employees were told over the intercom that “today is your last day at work.” Pretty tacky and sleazy.
This is the entity that is holding us hostage, continues to charge us interest on $800 million we never used. And they front us off to launder money. It’s so horrible you can’t believe it’s still happening.
The lawsuits will continue and we are dependent upon grants because we cannot get our economic development efforts underway. You know why.
