on the gymnasium close circuit TV, saw Council Chairman Cedric Cromwell escorted to his car through a side door. Defiant citizens denounced the Cromwell’s plan to “undo the recent election” of Carlton Hendricks, Jr in a 2 hour meeting where Cromwell’s council members sat silently as tribal members angrily said they would not leave or allow them to meet in executive session to remove Hendricks. About 50 Tribal members in the chambers stayed put. Around 70 members were in the gym.
One tribal member called Harris a “coward” because he would not defend his accusation that Hendricks disparaged him. Harris barely looked up throughout the meeting.
