If you were a stranger, you would have thought it was a promo for an upcoming reality show because there is no explanation for Marie Tah Tah Deja Vu’s eerie presence at the last council meeting. Clearly, under pressure, she decided to appear in person (without the black screen) on the zoom call. Tribal members complain that you can never see her during the meetings…..that she’s hiding. Ok, so it was in-person kinda.
She shared a screen with the chairman. He was leaning to the right of the screen, while she would occasionally lean in from the left to speak. Most of the time she never moved into the frame, but you heard her distinctive voice carping out some ridiculousness from the great beyond like the WIZ. Half of her face would appear then disappear like a vampire. It was extremely funny until you realized how sad it was. The lack of propriety and respect for the process means nothing to her. It wasn’t about the people’s business it was all about babying Tah Tah. And the irony is rich.
Tah Tah is like a child. They can’t give her a laptop because she breaks them. Why would we believe she can present a budget.Jezzzzzus.
Why doesn’t Tah Tah use her own laptop? IT refuses to give her one. She breaks them left and right. When they see her coming their way they turn and take off.
Now I ask you. Is that what you want in your Treasurer? Academy Award-winning performances in madness?
HOW ABOUT A DAMNED B U D G E T ?
So during that last meeting, she promised A BUDGET at the “2ND SUNDAY IN FEBRUARY” that is this coming Sunday. What’s your bet on that happening?
We could lose that $15 million because Tah Tah is tah tah and doesn’t know how to spend it.
Tell you what to do…. every time Tah Tah starts in, especially if you’re an employee, whip out your phone and let it roll. Actually, you all could collaborate put your videos together and make millions…create your own reality show! Tah Tah’s misadventures No editing is necessary.

Genting is merciless. They punked us for hundreds of millions to build a billion-dollar Las Vegas casino. Nothing to see here!
Social media is lit up with the machinations of the deadbeat cruise line Crystal Serenity owned by Genting Hong Kong. What was so amazing was the fact that Genting filed bankruptcy to avoid any disruption of cruises, but the feds seized all three ships anyway. Then, the poor employees were told over the intercom that “today is your last day at work.” Pretty tacky and sleazy.
This is the entity that is holding us hostage, continues to charge us interest on $800 million we never used. And they front us off to launder money. It’s so horrible you can’t believe it’s still happening.
The lawsuits will continue and we are dependent upon grants because we cannot get our economic development efforts underway. You know why.

Genting never really had any cool points, so we can only say that they’re operating at a huge deficit. It’s a two-edged sword that cuts deep into the tribal preditor’s reputation. Their treatment of us is clearly one of the biggest scandals ever in Indian Country. But their cheesy side lays bare the deadbeat nature of the gaming moguls who have enslaved us.
DATELINE MIAMI:
According to the Associated Press, Genting Hong Kong is once again in trouble because the government wants to seize a second ship from its Crystal Cruise line. Genting’s fuel bill is still looming. AP says the ships are sitting in the Bahamas after they sent a second set of stuck passengers back to Miami on little skiffs. Course the passengers got a full refund.
A second Genting Hong Kong ship left Miami never to return to avoid a federal court-ordered seizure. Incredible.
WHERE THE HELL IS OUR REFUND for over $800 million in loans that paid for girlfriends, boyfriends, cronies, prep schools, porn videos, hotel rooms limos airfares, consultants, contractors, vendors, and lawyers who never hit a lick for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe? There was a time when one law firm was billing the Tribe $60,000 a month and delivered nothing. No land in trust, nothing. We should have stock in Genting’s Las Vegas casino that looks identical to what we were supposed to have built.
But we don’t.
Maybe we could share in the profits since we helped build it. Now that’s a clever plan!

So last week the Tribal Council went into executive session to talk about the forensic audit. That had to be interesting. Even though many already knew how bad it was early on, like last summer. They are looking at it again. There’s more bad news, but how much worse can it be?
We are enslaved by debt incurred from the loans from Genting. The forensic audit reveals a process that is pretty bad. So the next question is why are we still dealing with them and trying to get them to reduce the debt on money that was not used to help us in the slightest. Laundering is laundering.
So, why don’t we ask the government for some help.

Genting fights to hold on to a damned cruise ship rather than give the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe a break. We’re still talking to these creeps.
Genting Hong Kong’s Crystal cruise line faced an arrest warrant when it tried to dock at the Port of Miami on Thursday. A federal judge delivered the unusual order because Genting Hong Kong owed a $5 million fuel tab. Had it docked, the federal government would have seized the ship as payment. So they filed bankruptcy in Hong Kong instead and put the 300 passangers on skiffs and shuttled them back to Fort Lauderdale in bad weather. This is who we are enslaved by.
Needless to say, Kevin Jones, the Genting overseer of the Tribe will write the press release explaining it all away.

interest Genting heaps on us? Probably not. Our enslavement debt now exceeds $800 million and is growing monthly. And we are stilll screwing around with these people who won’t pay a lousy fuel bill !
At the same time, you have the abuser communicating on your behalf. Course Genting is probably charging us for that too. We still owe their lawyers $1.2 milion dollars. No one has the slighest idea of what that was for. La Vegas maybe?
Still no land in trust. We will remain a federally recognized tribe, but until we have an Act of Congress to deal with Carcieri we have no future.
There’s a way out according to experts. Meanwhile we keep bumping around, listening to people who have destroyed us.
It’s numbing.

What happened last night was more than a powerplay by Cedric acolytes. It confirmed that this crew has no intention of being honest with our people. They seemed to be stunned by their victory with that ” Oh s—” look and quickly started trying to assure everyone that they would keep everything ” transparent” and allow council participants to sit in. Problem is, only Authority members vote. The other problem is there is never any follow-up. The promises ring hollow.
Even though the Gaming Authority is essentially disabled, (for now) it represents a place where the Chairman rules unequivocally. It’s a dictatorship pure and simple. There’s no discussion, there’s no planning, there’s just an echo chamber bouncing back and forth from him to his mentor the former Secretary, now Treasure Marie Tah Tah Deja vu.
When is the Council going to sit down and talk about the Tribe’s priorities, goals, federal, state, and local agendas? The clock is ticking on Land in Trust because if the Democrats lose control of the US House or US Senate or both, we are screwed. There are no retreats to share ideas and hash it out. There is no interest in looking beyond the next Council meeting that is usually dominated by corrective actions. This is the Chairman’s job…to lead.
It’s real! And we’re in it.
They are deep into Cedric’s rabbit hole and the pledges to do things differently make you scoff. The Tribal members have no confidence in its government because of these kinds of stunts. And it’s an affront to people who have suffered way too long.
Marie has single-handedly crippled the Tribal government. She has failed to:
- Allocate the $15 million appropriations from the federal government
- Present a budget (for 8 months)
- Focus on any of her responsibilities as Treasurer
We don’t know why Marie does what she does. We do know she is destructive.
She continues to conduct unauthorized actions that slow essential operations
- Tried to back door the hiring of the Comptroller offering him a $40,000 bonus without Council approval. set the hiring back at least 2 months
- Changing the staff organizational structure to empower herself
- Continuing to meddle in HR
- Bullying Housing Commissioners and anyone else she feels is a threat
- Dumping her responsibilities on others to execute
Marie does not have exclusive rights to “The Horror Show.” She has a bunch of council members who are complicit conspirators. You know who they are.
One thing is for sure, they carry the “Rabbit Hole” brand on their foreheads.

So the Tribal Gaming Authority will continue the way it always has, with no oversight. Yvonne, David, Winnie, Marie Tah Tah Deja Vu, and Cassie voted against the Tribal Council involvement as voting members of the Gaming Authority. Chairman Brian Weeden, who normally cannot vote, broke the tie by also voting no. So, the secrecy prevailed.
The gaming mogul Genting that has literally enslaved our Tribe, funds the Tribal Gaming Authority. And it’s questionable as to whether we are destined to have a real casino or a slot dump now. The slot dump proves

that Genting has abandoned the full-fledged casino. The most prominent negotiators in all of this are 3 officers on the Council, serving on the Gaming Authority ….Chairman Brian Weeden, Treasurer Marie (Tah Tah Deja Vu) Stone, and Secretary Cassie Jackson. That would be negotiating down the huge debt to nothing (in light of the fact that we got nothing for it $700 m).
They are our negotiators. But there was always the question of ” Why do we have a Gaming Authority and no casino?” Well honestly, because it protects the Tribe from legal liability. That was explained pretty thoroughly by Rebecca, the Tribal attorney. We have never even gotten close to having a casino because greed and gross incompetence ruled the day for a decade. All the contractors, lawyers, media consultants and yes the architectural fees of millions of dollars were funneled through the Gaming Authority. We were a laundromat. We are still laundering. Again nothing has changed.

It’s a slow process, but it brings results. Council members know that secrecy is the enemy and that the membership should be privy to what is done in their name.
Aaron continued to press forward ending the bastion of corruption otherwise known as the Gaming Authority.
Councilman Aaron Tobey made the case for transparency in an emergency measure during the Wednesday meeting. The proposal would require the Tribal Council to approve all Gaming Authority financial appropriations. The change received overwhelming support.
The finalization of the proposal ends the sneaky way of getting what you want without accountability. Anyway, confirmation of the vote comes tonight during the Emergency Council Meeting.

We forgot to mention last week that Cedric’s trial has been postponed until April for the 2nd time. No doubt that the government wants his help deciphering all those 100’s of millions of dollars in Genting bank transfers and contracts that we paid for without getting deliverables. Curious they are.

This indictment is a condemnation of the Tribal Gaming Authority.
The superseding 14 count indictment of Cedric Cromwell is a 35-pages long document loaded with findings that are damning. It tells the story of how the infamous Tribal Gaming Authority was able to execute a portion of the Cromwell administration expenditures of hundreds of millions of dollars at will. It was done in secret for over 10 years. No oversight. No Council vote. No explanation or justification for the expenditures Like a seperate government. Cronies on the board rubber stamping Cedric’s contracts and never questioning the Genting money going to Genting vendors and favorites IN OUR NAME.
The long dark shadow is totally horrific. We will summarize the indictment but publish it in it’s entirety so you can see first hand what happens when there is no transparency.
The point is…nothing has changed.
