So, Canal Street’s PP (Professional Persona) has faded away and small-time hustler comes alive. He fired the only person left in finance who knew anything about the responsibilities of the department. So, he wants to hire two more people to help him do the job he is not qualified to do.
So we’re paying him $85K and will have to pay two new people at least $170K who are not credentialed. One of them could be Nancy Frye Rose, or she could just be a new add on who knew nothing about judicial administration or finance. Who knows. Someone should ask, cause they think there’s no one left to tell the story of the financial cover up.
We know the big reveal and it’s not pretty.
That may have been the reason CK was threatening Council members with $10,000.00 fines for leaking information to Reel Wamps. The threat was a pretty glaring act of desperation. Furthermore, if you have nothing to hide, what do you have to fear? There’s a lot of bad stuff there yet to be revealed.
More mismanagement happening…..The Council is trying to increase their stipends. Donald Peters refused it. The money they got did go to pay some bills like Taunton, but it’s shaky because CS can’t do a forecast, cause he doesn’t know how…who cares? No finance report, no budget.
The day that happens Massasoit will reappear to save us from these damned fools.
More misfeasance. So they claim to be hiring workers at the casino trailers. Okay, no one really knows what that means being that the Gaming Authority slush fund is the chairman’s ATM. Expansion to the next level is nowhere on the radar. But another crazy move was to exempt contractors from drug testing. Wow. Liability be damned right? They claimed they can’t afford it…but they can afford to increase stipends?
They need to drug and alcohol test the officers and one program director in particular. Everyone knows who that is. A P cup is pretty cheap. Maybe we would have some economic development projects that will make money as opposed to outdated projects like ” SMOKE SHOPs. Jezus. No one smokes anymore! The gas stations…okay, how long will that take for the environmental permits etc. Who are the investors? Those lame outdated concepts warrant the coming of Metacom.
Finally, the emerging Council Queen is Little T…Talia. So Little T is a talker, we know that. And
Little T presents well, but can’t seem to finish the job. Maybe she’s using her sudden interest in HACCP to aspire to a bigger leadership role.
Tribal members seem to be impressed with her chatter during meetings. She’s a gem in a realm of officers who create problems they can’t solve Okay. So she has been assigned the HACCP program (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). That was negotiated and revived by former Vice Chairman Carlton Hendricks, Jr. It stalled over the last 2 years because TAT (Bobby Foster) would not release the remaining money to finish it. But it is a sustainable plan to grown shellfish, cleanse the bay and allow us to employ tribal members fishing and at a fish market.
The trouble is Little T never finished the 12 Acre living village project. It has never gotten off the ground.
Not a good sign.
