Cedric is promising Council members and tribal s— starters money “when the casino opens”.That’s a reach. Now you can guess who those dummies are but we won’t embarrass them. There’s no money for Cedric to dole out and Je$$ie exposed will be hard pressed to execute Cedric’s plan to remain empowered. The desperation is ridiculous.

Well damn. We didn’t know the great Gordon Harris (who won’t put his picture on his campaign material) studdered. You know what this is. With Hendricks OFF THE COUNCIL FOR 3 DAYS THEY WILL DO ALL KINDS OF – – – -..But Wednes at 11:30 they will take up the “Big Time Indian” complaint. Course we’ll see if “Big Time Indian” has the guts. He doesn’t want the Natives to go Mashpee on him. The meeting later is to deal with the petitions which should be very interesting. You must go to the meetings.
Chief Earl Mills has tried to hold us together. And Cedric has done everything to undermine the strength of the real Mashpee and our traditions..
Now to the worst mess. David Pocknett was told that the reimbursement of Chief Earl Mills would be on the agenda Tues night. The Chief did some long needed shoring up of the hstoric parsonage. The town was sympathetic and helped also. But The Chief was to be reimbursed period. Cedric was dodging and David had to basically cuss him out.
Now let’s say this. We are $507,000,000 in the hole and we can’t reimburse the Chief for preserving our historic site? Outrageous.
He was reimbursed. But honestly, the audacity of standing in the way of someone of Earl’s stature for doing what’s best for the tribe is indicative of what we’re talking about. They just can’t be decent.
And one more thing. Some Tobeys have a lot to say about what’s written on Reel Wamps and how they don’t like it.. We have to say this. Some of your family members have had a huge negative impact on this tribe. You watched them do it. You did nothing. You got them into office and they have been at the head of this tribal council for ten years. It has been a horrific mess that has eroded 50 years of struggle for acknowledgment and respect for our culture. Everyone talks about it behind your backs. But honestly, it wasn’t the Peters, Oakleys, Hendricks, Mills, Pocknetts, or Hicks who have lead the downward spiral. The Tobey’s did it and the Tobey’s have yet to resolve it. So figure it out. Je$$ie’s so damn smart ask her why don’t ya. Right.
